What WAS I thinking!?

My dad bought this "inverted incline" thing. It is supposed to help relieve pain on his two herniated discs.

I just got back from the gym with a sore back. I thought I would try this thing out. With no super vision whatsoever. Well, my mom was upstairs, thank goodness!

I set it up, stepped up and swung backwards. I was up side down and it felt great. After about a minute and 15 seconds of blood rushing to my head I thought I better flip right side up.

I got stuck up side down. Luckily God blessed me with a loud voice, small mouth, but loud voice. I yelled "MOM!? Uh... I'm stuck." She was oh so conveniently on the phone with my big sister. I yelled again. This time my voice was a little more faint. "Mom... come here... please."

She finally heard me about the 6th time yelling impatiently. Apparently I scared her half to death. Not to death, just half. Maybe that's why she was so low on energy... she is running on half a life.

Anyway, she helped me down and yelled at me, "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!?" uh Sorry?

*You know, I never know how to respond to that question. Is it rhetorical, or does the questioner really want to know what I was thinking at that moment? Usually it consists of me 'thinking' I can do anything.
